In a ruling on Jan. 11, the US Supreme Court sided with the state of NH in the first criminal appeal to reach the High Court in more than 30 years. The ruling in Barion Perry v. New Hampshire rejected the defendant's challenge of the reliability of an eyewitness identification of him due to "suggestive" circumstances. Read our coverage at NH Barion Perry page.

The Board of Governors reviews recommendations for advocacy on selected bills under the provisions of the Chapman decision regarding activity by a unified bar.
