Hillsborough County Superior Court - South Security Pilot Project
Requirements for Participation
- Attorney must be a member in good standing of the New Hampshire Bar Association
- Attorney must have their photo posted on the Bar’s Web site Member Directory
- Attorney must read and sign an Access Card Holders Agreement (PDF) that will be kept on file with the Sheriff’s Office
Attorneys will then obtain a magnetic card, issued by the sheriff’s office, that will be swiped by a sensor at the door near the screening station in the courthouse. The card is then “read” by a computer that pulls up the attorney’s name and photo on a screen visible to a court officer, who then remotely unlocks the door.
Attorneys that currently do not have a photo posted on the Bar’s Web site Member Directory can submit their photo to the Bar Association (NHBAinfo@nhbar.org) for that purpose. Once the photo has been downloaded to the Bar’s website and then to the software program at the courthouse, the attorney will be able to obtain their magnetic security access card at the courthouse. Allow three to six weeks once the photo is received by the New Hampshire Bar for processing.
A $10 processing fee will be charged for replacement cards, payable to the New Hampshire Bar Association prior to being issued a new security card.
